AFTER 6!!!



WHAT IS AFTER 6…

In a native parlance, He Yelled at his son, words that lucidly translates to ” … What is After 6 is greater than 7 “. On my hearing those strong words, I drove down thru memory lane asking myself, what more could be attributed to that rhema!
Numerically, I remembered, After 7 was 8, 9, 10, 11….
Alphabetically, g, h, I, j, k …. came to my mind
Academically, I recalled the place of 8th, 9th, 10th …..
Histologically, I remembered that the days of the week aren’t just 6 but 7days
Hmmmm!! 
A deeper thought then reminded me that there is more to PERFECTION than the letter 7!
That there is more after 6 (TODAY) than 7 (TOMORROW) and that greater is the FUTURE.

We once had teachers who taught us the peripherals in class, Give us the basic as assignments  (Which we most times copied to pass) then the exams appear to be so tough that we feel the teacher doesn’t even know the actual answers ( Seems like she wants to learn from our collective works u know!). However, for the sake of our A’s and CGPA at stake, we just find ways to give them the answer.
We end up feeling punished, feeling hated and grow with the mind-set that the only reason for our suffering is just to Cram-and-pour at the exam hall. We become blind to the tasking future ahead, which is naturally made easier only by our applying those foundational assignments we cried about.
Sweet words and empty promises embedded in lust and youthful sensation, gradually grabs the biology class lesson on puberty, then transcends irrationally into the peak of sexual promiscuity. Finally, the pregnancy test for the young teenager proves +ve, abortion versus Shame rings a bell in their teary eyes, Death and Regrets hovers around ever to be their fate. Just because we fail to remember that … what is after 6 is greater than 7!!!!
We forget that most times, there is more to having a boy/girlfriend - Lust takes over.
There is more to going for Night Party and Club - Drunkenness and Sexual Defilement most times.
There is more to the Fun in Premarital sex – Unwanted pregnancy
Hence after ‘ 6 ’ of Sexual promiscuity, a chain of effects arises – Pregnancy – Abortion – Death blablabla. Hmmmmm
Life has been so clouded by the euphoria that today brings such that we lose consciousness of the existence of “a Tomorrow” . We end up taking crazy decisions that either makes our tomorrow so bleak or blurred and unpleasant.  The best approach one really needs to live life is from a Futuristic approach and consciousness. Hey!!!! I don’t advocate for worries and anxiety of what tomorrow may bring, NO! Am only craving for a better daily approach to live with the mind-set that a tomorrow exist and shouldn’t be worse than today. With the understanding of how much the decisions we make today rides us into fame or shame tomorrow.

This reformed and informed Mentality of AFTER 6 hence ensures;  

  •  I make friends today not for sexual reasons but for the sake of true friendship and partnership. And keeping them not betraying their trust.
  • Learning from everything with the understanding that no knowledge is a waste ( even when you never apply dy/dx).
  • We rationally engage in Time and resource management in the presence to prevent a future Bankruptcy. Right?
  • Understanding that  my Background should not pin my back to the ground, hence I live above discouragement.
  •  My learning to always forgive, cos bearing of grudges with Joe is a waste of time since the world is a small village, and I never can tell how much helpful he will be to me  at 8:00pm after forgiving him by 7pm.

Am sure you have noticed this: That the hurdles and barricades of today most times tries to weigh us down and blur our sight from seeing light at the end of the dark tunnel that leads to the future. The SHIT that HAPPENS every day tends to make many people to give up at ‘ 6 ’ thinking they are living for ‘7 ‘ alone, unknown to them of 8,9 and 10 ( the future awaiting their manifestation). One question, ***Does giving up now (from doing the right thing) make the future (that must come) a better place to live?

They saw beyond the pains these projects caused them (their 6:00) little wonder they left footprints in the sands of times (their 8, 9, 10:00).

TWO CONCLUDING THOUGHTS;

What is AFER 6 is GREATER than 7 Hence -: Live with the existence of a tomorrow in mind. Be rationale! Live within the confinements of HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS. Control your PLEASUROMETER!! Don’t let today's acts stain your future's slate. The future is precious that a stain from today mars it so greatly.
What is AFTER 6 is GREATER than 7 Hence -; Never give up at 6 ( today) not even at 7  (tomorrow ) cos the future can be brighter than you can ever imagine. Living with the mind-set that today’s decision affects tomorrows outcome makes us rationale, wise and makes AFTER 6 is place to crave for. 
Giving up is not an option!!

BURST THAT COCOON ( BTC )

D BROKEN SILENCE!!!! Some 8years ago , I feared standing up in the midst of a crowd not to talk of speaking to them. The irony about the issue was that i always had a succinct idea that i believed was needful to place this aright, but i always squabble in fear and let my mouths get sealed up. She got into trouble because i found it difficult to say a word and prove her guiltless. I got bullied a couple of times because my silence made them feel I was configured to be maltreated. I missed bonus marks in the class, not because I didn't know the answer to the "seemingly tough question" but because i just kept silence about my knowledge , feeling so timid to say my mind.
