Our Mistakes!

So I sat down to critically question myself about the reason why even our parents are scared of our generation being better than theirs, then I found out that, The biggest problem of our generation (after denominationalism without Christ) is MINDSET.

We have bought so much into the abnormalities that our societies have normalized, and smile at the irregularities that our society have painted-right.
We have seen politics as a money making machine rather than a call to serve.
We have seen lying as an excuse rather than a sin which it is.
We have defended indecent dress with the logic of body autonomy and fashion revolution.
We have considered instant gratification as the best way to resist economic harsh realities selling our conscience on the alter of pleasure.
We have christened examination malpractice as cooperation and helping the needy.
We have considered insult as evidence of being outspoken and a No-nonsense-person.
We have trivialized Gods grace as a license to sin.
We have learnt to make hasty conclusions and promote pessimism based on little challenges/mistakes of the past.
We have a different mindset to solving problems, we think there must be an invite regression - ''Did it start today? ''
We have been brainwashed on what true leadership is because of what ''leaders'' of today do.
We have forgotten that 2 wrongs cannot make a right.
We find it difficult to believe that '' the fact that everyone does the wrong thing doesn't make it right''.
We have embrace the me-first mentality, we are gradually losing our sense of human sympathy.
We have prioritized money over service and value delivery.
We see Volunteerism as slavery.
We believe hoarding knowledge is the best way to stay on top of our game.
We have basked in the Euphoria of our parents mistake, without seeking to make a difference.
We have picked a lot of debris that has kept us back....

CAN WE REDEEM OURSELVES?
Yes!! If we can start by taking this deliberate steps, we will he back on track;

We must arise and take responsibility of leading our generation back into the path of greatness our parents couldn't achieve or sustain.
We must Get tired of this stagnancy that has kept us like the DeadSea.
We must make conscious efforts to be better youths that will cause positively changed society that our children will be happy to live in.
We must embrace Christ as our Lord and Saviour and seek his guidance in leaving a phenomenal life.
Remember: The society you help to destroy today will take its revenge on you tomorrow ( Peter Obi will always say).!

Let's make our existence impactful, purposeful and with a trans generational relevance.
