DECISION (1): Why is it important?

Opening his eyes to a bright, brand new day, Josh stretched, yawned and hopped out of his Dunlop exquisite foam. Unintentionally, he strolled to the calendar hanging just opposite his bed, and looked at the date. 30th August!

Suddenly, he became uncomfortable with "the speed" with which the year was moving, his countenance changed, his heart paced faster, his eyes gradually closed in discontent as he imagined all he had thought about accomplishing before the middle of the year. The books he wanted to read, and those he needed to publish. The conferences he had vowed to attend. The certificates he had sworn to earn, the investments he had hoped to make, and the level he had promised himself to have attained! At the point of thinking about these desires, they where fresh and there was enthusiasm with alacrity. But what happened? Why have I spent 8months without achieving a single one?

Decision is a conscious choice solidified by conviction about the necessity to do something. The power of decision is a bit mysterious. It binds your sub-consciousness to your consciousness. Ignites an inevitable fire in you that pulls your sensory neurons every flipping second reminding them about your dreams.
Its one thing to dream and make wishes, but until you've decided to realize them, even the weakest of winds will blow you off the course of attainment.

Decision conditions your mind to make every necessary sacrifice to achieve your dream.
It pressurizes your tenacity to keep fit till it has achieved that success.
It makes stumbling blocks appear as necessary Stepping stones to your success.
It slaps you when you waste time on non essentials.
It disrupts your sleep when you embark on it longer than you've given time to your goal.
It strengthens you when you fail.
It encourages you when you rise up to keep pursuing.
Its stands by you till you hit the target.
Its steps aside and bask in the euphoria of your praise when you're being celebrated.

If you must Make A Difference, you must take a Decision!

Josh realized later how much time he had lost because he never took a conscious DECISION on those plans. Though, he later pressed the D-Button, he still couldn't achieve much before the year winded up.

Dear Quintessential reader, take a DECISION to accomplish those plans today, and safe your life regrets that will never add value to your future.

Quintessential Danny!
