WHY DO I NEED A TEAM?

Stepping into the room one morning, I saw a giant spider, creeping on the wall. Without thinking twice, I hit it once and it fell dead. I kept on doing what I had to do until I subconsciously looked towards the direction of the dead spider.

Guess what I saw?

Suddenly there was a seemingly moderated moving queue of little ants to ward that direction, stopping and making u-turn at the
 spot where the dead spider lay. As I watched
keenly, a few number of answers gradually grew to over 50steady moving industrious comrades, coming from various nooks and crannies through the same line to the same place. It was obvious the struggle was aimed at carrying the prey into their habitat, to store food for the winter season. In turns they gathered together, running round to try lift and move the meat, but it was becoming more herculean for them. In less than 5mins I, saw a category of that ant I have not consciously noticed before. Same specie but longer and bigger. They had gone to call for help, to get the job done. Then another bigger group joined the chorus, until a formidable vehicle was built by almost all of them, which brought the meal to the destination.

Its true we came into this world alone, and have unique dreams and visions, but we cannot achieve purpose if we decide to live through this world all by ourselves. Challenges are tough task that needs more than individual efforts to solve. They are best solved faster and more efficiently with like minds.

We get easily weary of doing the right thing because, we find it difficult to get the right persons to aid us accomplish it. Some feel scared of failing and being snubbed, some feel they will be considered weak if they seek help, some are so selfish that they think of being accorded all the praise at the end of the day. But so consistently, these mindsets has robbed the word of great inventions and solutions. Great inventions are rarely products of single individuals, form the Telephone, airplane, cars, etcetera... There have always been a team in Accomplishing much more!

If you must not be weary in creating a lasting change, you need to run with people of like minds and ready to build that world with you. With a TEAM crimes focus, creativity, wider-spectrum of thought, Variety of perceptions that can be harness into watertight solutions. If you must make a difference, you need a mentor, that's part of your team mates. Someone who has made mistakes, learnt from them, willing to share with you, and aid your ingenuity from dying of frustration borne out of lack of experience.

Its true there are task we can and must accomplish alone to test our knowledge base, and for the sake of necessities. Never slack in doing what you have to do and playing your role well. However, in those other, more often situations when a TEAM is required, don't hesitate to form one discreetly.

But don't forget that until God is part of your team, your collective efforts will be too uncoordinated for effective output.
