A CALL TO RELEVANCE

"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity" Dr Martin Luther King
This quote has influenced my life greatly, over the last few years. I have come to understand life from a perspective of making impact.

Living a life that is relevant here starts when you as an individual can rise above the narrow confines of your individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.

It is a conscious effort and a daily commitment to make a difference in lives. You don't have to be bold, beautiful, rich, famous to do that, you are just amazing the way you are. Touch the life next to you.

The life you have been given is a gift, use it wisely and make positive impact that matters in the lives of men. The best investment you can ever make on earth is investing in lives and dreams.

Get out of that comfort zone, look around you, there are lives to impact, broken hearts to mend, dreams and visions to empower and a worthy legacy to leave for those who are coming behind you.

You have only one life to live and a short one at that, thus if you must live, live a life that is different and relevant.

This quote by Etienne De Grellet readily comes to mind "I shall pass this way but once, any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being, let me do it now, let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."

One day you will sit back and watch your life in retrospect. I hope you will have a smile and not a frown on that face. I hope you won't live in regrets. Today is a good time to start living an intentional life that is relevant. Where you are is the best place to start, you don't have to be loud about it, just live and make a difference.

When it is time to bow out of this stage, the world will mourn your departure, because of the hearts you have touched and heaven will rejoice over your homecoming.

BURST THAT COCOON ( BTC )

D BROKEN SILENCE!!!! Some 8years ago , I feared standing up in the midst of a crowd not to talk of speaking to them. The irony about the issue was that i always had a succinct idea that i believed was needful to place this aright, but i always squabble in fear and let my mouths get sealed up. She got into trouble because i found it difficult to say a word and prove her guiltless. I got bullied a couple of times because my silence made them feel I was configured to be maltreated. I missed bonus marks in the class, not because I didn't know the answer to the "seemingly tough question" but because i just kept silence about my knowledge , feeling so timid to say my mind. Amidst this years people kept on telling me, don't worry its just the best way to be - SILENT, I felt worst when I noticed in my small veil- covered mind that even those who spoke made no difference.
