The series of events and lessons thought me that it is not over until it is all over. After the hustling and bustling that later ended up to be a miraculous journey to World Universities Debating Championship Malaysia 2015, I appreciated doggedness and perseverance for once. We had been grossly disappointed by those who were to pay our flight ticket, hence, we combed the hives and castles of Abuja, passionately seeking for a way forward to ensure a passion never dies that way.                          TIRED OF THE STATUS QUO!!! ‘’…Deep down in despair, bartered by confusion , disgusted by a repeated lack of success, confused by uncertainty, mesmerized in efforts trying to understand the reasons for the moral bankruptcy. Hmmm yet it seemed as though the status quo (Problem) just can’t be changed.’’ ‘’ With repeated attempts to pass a particular examination. Failed efforts to cross life’s hurdles. Settling in this mess seems to be the ideal decision’’. #JustThinking…… Those words above have characterized the life of many and formed their default reaction to life situations.

WHAT IS AFTER 6… In a native parlance, He Yelled at his son, words that lucidly translates to ” … What is After 6 is greater than 7 “. On my hearing those strong words, I drove down thru memory lane asking myself, what more could be attributed to that rhema! Numerically , I remembered, After 7 was 8, 9, 10, 11…. Alphabetically , g, h, I, j, k …. came to my mind Academically, I recalled the place of 8 th , 9th, 10 th ….. Histologically , I remembered that the days of the week aren’t just 6 but 7days Hmmmm!!  A deeper thought then reminded me that there is more to PERFECTION than the letter 7! WHEN ITS HARD to FORGIVE!!!! What is the Maximum duration you ever remained offended ? WAT!!!!!  After slandering me and dragging my name and personality to the mud, without even saying sorry, yet you expect me to just forgive, you must be joking.  I thought we were friends, I shared my most precious secrets and terrific Pains at His endearing display of love and care. I ever thought safety laid right in his arms, yet I became an object of ridicule by this same fellow.   He still had the guts to scold me in the presence of my friends. Hmmm , yet you talk about forgiveness. Excuse me!!!!

D BROKEN SILENCE!!!! Some 8years ago , I feared standing up in the midst of a crowd not to talk of speaking to them. The irony about the issue was that i always had a succinct idea that i believed was needful to place this aright, but i always squabble in fear and let my mouths get sealed up. She got into trouble because i found it difficult to say a word and prove her guiltless. I got bullied a couple of times because my silence made them feel I was configured to be maltreated. I missed bonus marks in the class, not because I didn't know the answer to the "seemingly tough question" but because i just kept silence about my knowledge , feeling so timid to say my mind. Amidst this years people kept on telling me, don't worry its just the best way to be - SILENT, I felt worst when I noticed in my small veil- covered mind that even those who spoke made no difference. In less than a month, the boiling pan was brought down from the oven and GEJ was announce the President. Then post-election opposition issues broke forth with the scariest act being the explosion of the BOKO HARAM sect whose existence had not been felt till then. Progressively, we tried to manage the scene, yet it grew worse than we could fathom with bomb explosions, kidnapping and killings rampaging the north and threats on the south.
