Virtue Series 7: Sincerity in Leadership

"Mtcheeeewwwww... Wasn't it what he said when he was campaigning for his first tenure?, Is he not a politician again? Leave those promises joorhhhhh, it doesn't fit at all..."

Those are the words in the minds of most of the citizens in countries with insincere leaders. The political space has been tagged a space filled with insincerity at its peak.  It takes a sincere leader to make a difference.

Sincerity will make you loose cash, but will preserve your integrity. it will make you spend more than expected.

Integrity is not about what you do. It is who you are. Sincere is about a genuine agenda, where one’s actions matches ones words and even motives or intentions. Sincere is honesty from the heart. One can be honest from the mind, intellectually, but when combined with emotion – the heart – honesty transforms into sincerity. Sincere is when you move beyond the principle of “fake it till you make it”.

We need more sincerity from leaders, even though they are pressed for time, for speedy delivery and the pressure is on to achieve the “impossible”.

The question is how sincere are you?
May sincerity take you to the zenith of your achievements this year!

D BROKEN SILENCE!!!! Some 8years ago , I feared standing up in the midst of a crowd not to talk of speaking to them. The irony about the issue was that i always had a succinct idea that i believed was needful to place this aright, but i always squabble in fear and let my mouths get sealed up. She got into trouble because i found it difficult to say a word and prove her guiltless. I got bullied a couple of times because my silence made them feel I was configured to be maltreated. I missed bonus marks in the class, not because I didn't know the answer to the "seemingly tough question" but because i just kept silence about my knowledge , feeling so timid to say my mind. Amidst this years people kept on telling me, don't worry its just the best way to be - SILENT, I felt worst when I noticed in my small veil- covered mind that even those who spoke made no difference.
